Found this old restored train depot in Bay St. Louis Mississippi while on our way to Pensacola Beach Florida last month. This depot was built in 1928 and served as an Amtrak station until 2005 when service was suspended because of Hurricane Katrina. The restoration was completed in 2011 and the building and property are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The building now serves as the Hancock County Tourism Development Bureau. — with Gloria Culpepper.
