Lunch box jokes. Cut out a fun shape and print a great- kid friendly- joke to go along with the theme. Then at the end of the year, laminate, hole punch and attach with a book ring. The kiddos love to look back on their year of jokes. (Example: joke of the day printed on a little yellow school bus: "What would happen if you took the school bus home?" "Answer: The police would make you bring it back!" Even the lunch staff loves them!

Sock Bunny. Start with a toddler sock, fill with dried beans, tie off the top with a rubber band. Cut the top into ear shapes (cut a "v" with rounded tops), tie a bow around the neck. We opted to paint the features and tail because some of them are going to little kiddos and we didn't want to worry about pieces coming off.
