Flannel baby rag quilt. I've started to tear the strips to get strait grain and make raveling the edges easier.

I love your quilt! I wish I knew how to make one. I'd love to make one for myself and one for each of my boys.

french roses quilt pattern

French Roses Quilt. Applique with frayed edges. Love the fabric pattern stacking. Black & white makes a cute non-traditional baby quilt, too.

French Roses Quilt in Black and White

Flannel rag quilt. 6 and 3 inch strips. I hand unraveled the edges cause it was easier then going to the laundromat. Next time I'm tearing the strips to really get them straight on the grain.

I couldn't stop making this French Rose pattern! I used it for a baby quilt, a wall hanging and pillows.

Darla Rag Quilt- Front by Live, Laugh, Sew, via Flickr / this would make such a sweet background for a sewing page or heritage page featuring a seamstress relative...cut paper squares and distress the edges, glue down to cardstock and then run through your sewing machine for 'seams'

So lovely-never thought of doing this block with only two fabrics- how simple and beautiful!!! 20130315_french_rose_block_single
