Black Slipper raced at the 1902 Wayne County Fair (Wooster, Ohio) in the 2:22 Pace going for a purse of $ 250. Charlie Ports raced Black Slipper four heats where he finished 5 5 2 3 and was placed sixth overall out of the seven horses in the race.
